What the classes mean
PAC — Money from a political action committee registered with the state — considered special-interest.
Individual — Personal contribution from an individual; occupation and employer must be reported.
L-PAC — Contributions from a Leadership PAC (e.g. a caucus or speaker-managed PAC).
Business — A business entity such as a corporation. Limited to $1,000 or the business must register as a PAC.
Candidate — Money received from the campaign account of another candidate for office.
