Rep. Kirk Haston (R) is new in 2019. He is vice chair of the House Education Committee. Member, House K-12 Subcommittee, Member, Commerce Committee, Member, Banking & Investments Subcommittee. Vice Chairman Haston is an active educator. He co-sponsored 9 of our TLRC favored bills and a 100% vote score. It is a pleasure to sit down and talk with him. He earned a very respectable B+; not easy for a freshman. We expect to see great things from him in the future.
