TLRC statement

We firmly believe that the ability to preserve our liberty and the future of our republic is best positioned in the states.

Our way of life and basic American values are now consistently threatened by an ever-growing and continually encroaching federal government. The states not only need the courage to push back, but we also need a tangible way for our state legislature to stop unconstitutional actions of the federal government.

This bill creates a process by which the General Assembly may formally issue a Bill of Nullification and take an official vote of the legislature to nullify federal actions that it deems to be unconstitutional and an affront to the sovereignty of the state of Tennessee.
