Criminal Offenses - As introduced, justifies, under certain circumstances, the use of deadly force against another to prevent or terminate the other from committing or attempting to commit certain property offenses; specifies that the display or brandishing of a weapon does not constitute deadly force.

HB510 if passed as introduced, justifies, under certain circumstances, the use of deadly force against another to prevent or terminate the other from committing or attempting to commit certain property offenses; specifies that the display or brandishing of a weapon does not constitute deadly force.

This gives individuals protection in defending their life and property and protects an individual from consequences for showing a weapon without the use of force in order to protect oneself.
