TLRC Statement on Bill

This legislation requires the Department of Agriculture to regularly update and publish on its official website a comprehensive list encompassing all approved vaccines designated for use in livestock or poultry within the state. This compilation will be maintained to incorporate newly approved vaccines and eliminate those that are no longer sanctioned for use in the state’s livestock or poultry.

To enhance accessibility, the list of vaccines will be categorized into two distinct sections:

  1. Genetically-Engineered Vaccines: Encompassing vaccines that have been genetically engineered.
  2. Non-Genetically Engineered Vaccines: Encompassing vaccines that have not undergone genetic engineering.

This systematic categorization ensures clarity and facilitates efficient navigation for stakeholders seeking specific information on approved vaccines in the realm of livestock and poultry.
