21′ SB1115/HB1302 – White/Bricken
This bill removes the statute of limitations for the offense of trafficking for a commercial sex act committed against a child, if committed on or after July 1, 2021, so a person may be prosecuted, tried, and punished for the offense at any time after the offense is committed.
TLRC is extremely supportive of this bill and any that may serve to discourage such heinous and wicked acts against any person, but especially our most vulnerable; our children.
TLRC Observed Process
This bipartisan bill passed without dissent, as it rightly should have.
